I did want to cry yesterday when Scott told me that Emma had been fussing all morning and that he knew she had to be hungry, she just wouldn't eat. I felt bad because I knew if I was there she'd eat right away. A big change for all 3 of us. At least she she did finally eat good after she took a nap. When he called and told me that I felt much better.
I do have to say that I think I got over zealous with pumping Saturday and Sunday before coming back. I was so worried that she wouldn't have enough to eat while I was gone that I probably pumped double what she needed. At least she had plenty and Scott didn't have to get into the freezer stash.
Things are working out pretty good so far. I'm still not getting out of the house quite when I want to but I'm getting better at it. Each day I've managed to leave 10 minutes earlier than the day before. At this rate I should be leaving at the right time come Monday morning.
I definitely miss my sweet little girl when I'm at work! It makes me savor the time I have with her when I get home. I even enjoy night feedings more now! Time with just me and her.
It's hard to believe that today is already Wednesday and there are only 2 more days this week. Then I can see her all day on the weekend!!! Common Saturday!
